We stayed at family friendly Court Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin
The quiet rooms offered serenity when we wanted downtime. Even better? The Court Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin has a convenient location that made it easy to explore the city and beyond:
- 5-minute, 200m walk to Tenjin-minami Station for taking the train to Hakata Station (and shopping center), not to mention Canal City’s Ramen Stadium, Ghibli shop, and Jump Shop
- Across the street from the green space of Tenjin Central Park
- Tucked back from the main street for quiet and comfort, but we could quickly access other main streets for walking to restaurants or attractions
- 10-minute, 500m walk to Kihinkan Hall and ferry terminal in another segment of Tenjin Central Park
- 15-minute, 650m walk to Ichiran Ramen (unless you really like waiting in lines, arrive outside of main meal hours)
- Walking the riverside paths along the Naka River, not to mention checking out local famous outdoor food stalls, or yatai
The clean lines and renovated space enhanced our comfort in our double bunk bed room. An additional foyer door offered separation from the lobby and common spaces, but we could quickly head to the lobby for the comfy couches and anytime hot beverages.
A downstairs 7-11 offered convenient snacks and breakfast options, but we were also close to many cafes and restaurants. Staying here made it easy to do what we wanted on our itinerary… and we could always duck into the 7-11 for a snack or smoothie!
